Water cooled backplane
Simply put,the water-cooled backplane is to install a"cold water plate with cold circulation"at the back of the cabinet.The overview is as follows:the unit is mainly composed of cold water distribution controller,backplane heat exchanger,etc.,and the cold water source is provided by the public cold water supply system of the machine room(cold water distribution unit).The built-in heat exchanger,water pump,control valve,and temperature,pressure,humidity and other sensors obtain accurate flow,pressure,temperature,humidity and other data.Through a unique algorithm,the two-stage circulation of cooling water is accurately controlled.The heat generated by the server is eliminated to the greatest extent through the backplane heat exchanger.

The water-cooled backplane adopts a fan free design,which has no power demand,no energy consumption and reduces noise.Its dynamic,accurate and intelligent cooling technology can reduce the cost of refrigeration energy consumption.Efficient and accurate heat exchange reduces the requirements of the machine room for air conditioning and avoids the impact of air conditioning failure.However,the investment of this system is relatively higher than that of the ordinary machine room air conditioner.In addition,there are some disadvantages such as accidental water leakage,which depends on whether the manufacturer has strict requirements on the manufacturing process of the pipeline.

The main body of the water-cooled backplane is the water-cooled system,which is mainly composed of CDU-cold water distribution controller,rdhx-backplane heat exchanger and the pipeline from CDU to rdhx.The cold water source of CDU is provided by the public cold water supply system of the machine room(chiller).As the core of the whole system,the CDU specially designed for it equipment cabinet plays the role of distribution,regulation,monitoring and alarm to the backplane heat exchanger(rdhx).The whole system realizes design safety,operation safety and use safety.

CDU integrates Eaton Williams'innovative technology in cooling to complete the primary and secondary circulation of cooling water respectively.CDU has built-in heat exchanger,water pump,control valve,and temperature,pressure,humidity and other sensors to obtain accurate flow,pressure,temperature,humidity and other data.Through a unique algorithm,the two-stage circulation of cooling water is accurately controlled.Thus,the heat generated by the server is removed to the maximum extent through the backplane heat exchanger(rdhx).
